Let me start off with a little background information for you. My name is Eric Siversen and I live in the sunshine state of Florida. I am a father of two amazing girls and have an amazing wife who keeps our family grounded. If you asked me about the world as a whole, I would say it is the worst of times as far as the economy and the struggles people face in the real estate markets and a handful of other dramatic occurrences. However for me I see life as it being the best of times for me. I look at my life and all I think about is how happy my kids make me each day and aside from that not much really matters. That makes my life the best it can be and as long as that is my focus then I can never be brought down by anything negative that surrounds me. I love to create and run businesses. I am an idea guy, and great at execution. I do not believe in failure, at least not for myself. I will never stop trying to create. I have tried numerous new ventures and some while they did not perform as I had hoped, there have been plenty of others that have turned into successes much larger than anyone could have anticipated and that is what it is all about. You have to believe in something and be able to whole heartedly push that idea past its limits until you achieve your ultimate goals.
I write down my goals, I hang up pictures of things that motivate me, and I never stop thinking of the end game. I surround myself with success and successful people because I know I share their visions and our energies will feed off each other to produce great things. So the moral of this post is for you to take a step back and reevaluate the things in your life that are most important. Once you realize that life is not all about money (which there is nothing wrong with having and making good money) but true happiness is living your life in a way that you can be proud of and be able to look back one day without regret and smile at the memories.
